About Me

Hi there! Here is a little background story about me and how I started this blog :D

I'm Elsa. I'm from Indonesia and (when I wrote this) I'm 18 years old. I started blogging when I was 16 but I haven't exactly blog in a regular schedule. Even until now I can't find myself to regularly make blog post. Hihi ^^

I'm currently studying to be an interior design at a private university in Jakarta. And if you guess just by my major in college, I love design(ing). I always love things (literally anything) to have style and as a student I always have to have my things personalized in some way. I think color & design always matter. And no details are too small to notice :D

My Interests

Travelling

Since the first time I went abroad, I always love travelling. Actually it don't have to be abroad, I enjoy travelling in Indonesia as well. But the first time I realized that I got a thing for travelling was when I arrived on another country because it was just so interesting to be somewhere else in the world. Haha. And if you also like to travel, you will know the feeling of being somewhere else, especially new places you've never been before, its like a whole new world to explore and full of new experiences. That's why I love travelling. Because of the excitement and new things to see & try.

Good Food

As much as I love traveling, I also like eating & making good food. In relation with travelling, I always felt like I have to try out the food at the place where I travel to. Sometimes they are good, sometimes they are bad, and sometimes they are super duper tasty. And that's the part of the excitement, to find 'treasures' like that.
If I'm not travelling, I also enjoy the food in restaurants / cafe mostly in Jakarta (because I reside here ^^). The reasons to go to a restaurant for me, beside the food, is the ambience of the place. But if they have both, plus good service, I'll love the restaurant even more.
I also quite like to write reviews of these restaurants because I myself like to read reviews of a restaurant before I go there and it help a lot to choose a good restaurant or delicious dishes. I hope that my reviews will help others too.

DIY & Crafts

Speaking about design & style, I think DIY & Craft are closely related. And I would say doing these things make me happy. It just pleasant to make something and actually I got no reason why I like doing them, I just do.
For a design student, I'm actually not too interested in fine art too much because somehow it felt too heavy for me and I don't quite understand it (and from what I learn at college, fine art works tend to always have some meaning attached to them). I'm more into simpler kind of arts (the ones that for me are easier to approach) like crafts, illustrations and DIYs.
